Hey Thurop. I have been really practicing on being an animator and I have gotten better at coming up with ideas. My dad has been discouraging me on becoming an animator because there isn't high demand for it, I was wondering...What steps would i have to take to become a cartoonist? I know its not as simple as that movie "Freddie Got Fingered" haha. I just got out of high school and I am scared. I am afraid I wont get my dream job even I try my hardest. I just need advice from someone with experience. It would be very kind if you gave me an idea on what to do. thank you. ~Kayla.

Work like you don’t need money, love like you’ve never been hurt, and dance like no one’s watching.
Thank you a lot sir. That has really helped me become less scared. And I was also wondering, how do you approach yourself to cartoon network? Do you have to go to California and have them see your work? I would rather work for Cartoon Network than any other network like Nick or Disney because based on what you say about the place, you make a lot of friends and its kind of like a union between co-workers. The thought of working there is exciting.

My friends and I quote The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack all the time. We are major fans of you, and we were sincerely heartbroken when Lil' Flappy was taken off of CN. We pondered on why it had been taken down, and then we had also noticed that the show, Chowder, had been taken off aswell. Some of the shows that I watched everyday, and would hold off doing my homework for. (My homework was still completed). Your work is sincerely amazing and I adore your since of humor. I would love to see more cartoons, and hopefully, more permanent shows for me, and the rest of the world that misses the bright smile of Flapjack. Thank you for bestowing such an angel upon the media world. We do miss him so.
I entered a skateboard design contest and drew K'nuckles on the baord, and the visitation was last night downtown, and when everyone saw me they said, "Hey, on your board...that guy looks familiar!" and I kept saying, "Yeah, Captain K'nuckles." and everyone's like, "Oh, from Flapjack! Dude, I loved that show!" I also got similar comments when I wore my Captain K'nuckles hat to school.
